Linux LPI 101 exam preparation. (3 ECTS, 84 hours)

This years course will enable you to prepare for the LPI 101 exam. The course will start in week 6 (from Feb. 8) and end in week 13 (from March 29). We will have a weekly session in which we will address one subject. The recommended strategy is to sit next to a PC (running Linux) and try the commands that are introduced in the book and sessions. The sessions alone are not enough to pass the exam. THe LPI exam tends to ask of knowledge on the different commandline tools and commands.

Since April 2009, the LPI exam uses new objectives, which makes the market for up to date books a bit small. I found a (German) Galileo Computing title and succesfully used an O'Reilly book in the past for the old objectives.
